Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside nursing care in the primary care clinic under supervision. You will support clinic staff and patients with routine tasks and ensure accurate documentation of care.

Key duties include patient assessment, medication administration as ordered by physicians, and collaboration with the care team to implement the patient plan.

Qualifications

• Current NC LPN licensure or Compact state licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Positive interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under supervision in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in assessment of patient.
• Collaborates with departmental and interdisciplinary groups in developing the patient plan of care.
• Follows patient’s plan of care while participating in the direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Maintains an accurate and relevant record of patient care.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities and monitors the quality of care.
