Job summary

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role is full time day position, Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, at our Manassas, VA location.

You will provide direct patient care under the RN, maintain records, participate on unit teams and quality initiatives. Minimum qualifications include a Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing, Virginia LPN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: 0 years of experience.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
