Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia seeks a Licensed or License-Eligible Substance Abuse Counselor to provide and support outpatient counseling services and care coordination for youth and their families.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Counseling, Counselor Education, or Social Work and is licensed (LPC/LCSW/LSATP) or eligible to obtain licensure. PHP/Group experience is preferred, with a competitive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Counseling, Counselor Education, or Social Work.
• Must be licensed or license-eligible as LPC, LCSW, or LSATP.
• Experience in team-based care for substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and support outpatient counseling services for clients with substance use disorders.
• Coordinate care and services to support treatment goals.
• Experience with PHP/Group counseling is preferred.
