Inova Health System is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Internal Medicine in Falls Church, VA. This full-time day position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm and focuses on direct patient care under RN supervision.

You will maintain patient records, participate in unit teams, and contribute to quality initiatives while supporting a compassionate, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• LPN license issued by Virginia.

Inova Health – Internal Medicine is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Vocational / TechnicalDiploma in Practical Nursing
• License:Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Experience: 0 years of experience
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
