Qualifications

• A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Licensed to practice as an LPN in Indiana.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
• CPR and CPI certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management follow-up appointments; send and confirm reminders.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to optimize appointment flow and reduce wait times.
• Perform clinical duties: verify vital signs, document medical history, collect specimens, administer medications as needed.
• Be primary contact for patient questions, refills, or concerns about appointments.
• Maintain appointment logs, connection logs, and patient records; ensure HIPAA compliance.

(Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with one evening shift per week 12pm-8:30pm)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Outpatient LPN to join our team at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital!

• Scheduling initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management follow-up appointments for the Outpatient department. Send and confirm appointment reminders.
• Coordinating with providers and administrative staff to optimize appointment flow and reduce patient wait times.
• Clinical duties including but not limited to taking and recording vital signs, documenting medical history, specimen collection, administering medications as needed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for patients with appointment related questions, medication refills or concerns.
• Maintaining accurate schedule logs, connection log updates, and patient records.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational privacy standards.
• Assist with Intake paperwork related to the patients.

• Education & Licensure: A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school required. Licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of Indiana.

Compensation:
