Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our ambulatory/outpatient clinic in Indianapolis. You will manage patient message pools, process refills, administer injections, and support care coordination with a collaborative team.

This full-time role supports Adult Psychiatry and Concierge Clinic services. The position requires an active Indiana LPN license, BLS certification, and orientation completion; 1–2 years of experience is preferred.

• Location: 355 W. 16th St., Suite 2800, Indianapolis, IN 46202
• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

About The Opportunity

• Join a growing outpatient clinic in a newly added role due to clinic expansion.
• Work alongside a collaborative team of providers, RNs, and support staff.
• Opportunity to support both Adult Psychiatry and Concierge Clinic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient message pools and follow-up communication
• Process medication refills
• Complete prior authorizations
• Handle critical patient calls and care coordination
• Review and communicate lab results
• Administer injections
• Support TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) services
• Provide backup support for Medical Assistants as needed

Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.

• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Successful completion of orientation required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
