Join our laboratory team at The Kirklin Clinic of UAB Hospital, part of UAB Medicine, to support high-volume outpatient care and perform essential specimen handling and testing in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a weekday schedule with no weekends or major holidays, strong work-life balance, and access to comprehensive benefits. A High School diploma is required and BLS may be needed within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS from the American Heart Association may be required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, catalog, and store lab specimens for testing.
• Adhere to specimen identification policies and quality controls.
• Utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide general administrative support (filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, mail delivery).
