Job summary

Bon Secours Southside Internal Medicine in Petersburg, VA seeks an MD for a 100% outpatient practice with 40% adult and 60% geriatric patients. The role is FT, M-F 8a-5p, no hospital duties, with EPIC EMR and MyChart telehealth.

Responsibilities

• See patients for scheduled appointments (sick visits, routine follow-ups, hospital follow-ups, pre-op medical clearance)
• Refill medications and follow labs/imaging with LPN/CMA assistance; document encounter and bill in EMR
• Sign home health orders and other patient correspondence as needed
• Occasionally precept med students from Liberty University
• Close charts on the same day
