Job summary

Bronson Internal Medicine Portage in Portage, MI is seeking a board certified/eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient practice. You will work with 6 physicians and two APPs in a hospital-employed, outpatient-only setting, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with minimal call.

A team-based approach supports ambulatory care management and patient-centered care. Qualifications include BC/BE in Internal Medicine, active Michigan medical license, and DEA/DPS

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine.
• Current and unrestricted state medical license (MD/DO) and DEA licensure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose illnesses and prescribe/treat patients in outpatient internal medicine.
• Examine patients, take medical histories, and order/interpret tests.
• Provide preventive care, wellness education, and referrals as needed.
• Maintain medical staff privileges and collaborate with care team.
