Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an outpatient infusion position in California. The role requires an active CA RN license and at least 2 years of outpatient infusion experience, including IV therapy, ports/central lines, and chemotherapy administration.

Work is in an outpatient infusion center with day shifts (4x9) starting early morning and weekend coverage every other week; travel benefits include housing allowance, licensure reimbursement, and non-taxed per diem through the

Qualifications

Active CA RN license required.
BLS and ONCC certifications required.
Minimum 2 years of outpatient infusion experience.
Experience with IV therapy and infusions.
Experience accessing ports and central lines.
Chemotherapy administration experience including IV push.
Ability to handle cytotoxic spills safely.
Ability to monitor lab values and communicate abnormalities.
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.

Responsibilities

Work in an outpatient Infusion Center setting.
4x9 hour day shifts starting at 7:30am or 8:00am.
Every other full weekend required; weekend shift is 8am-4pm.
Provide infusion nursing care including chemotherapy administration and port/central line management.
Monitor patients for side effects and abnormal lab values.
Follow isolation and neutropenic precaution protocols.
Holiday coverage may be required; one holiday off per contract.
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius.
