Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join a brand-new, 12,000-square-foot multispecialty outpatient practice in New Milford, Connecticut. This renovated, state-of-the-art facility houses Primary Care, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Cardiology in one location, with a collaborative team and strong support.

The position is outpatient-only for adults, with opportunities to teach medical students and residents.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Completed an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program.
• Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA and Connecticut Controlled Substances Registration (or ability to obtain).
• Experienced physicians and graduating residents are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient adult medicine care (18+).
• Collaborate with specialty services in a multispecialty facility.
• Participate in teaching medical students and residents.

Education

Connecticut medical license
