ColumbiaCare Services is seeking an Outpatient & Housing Peer Program Manager in Medford, OR. The role oversees peer services across outpatient and housing projects, implementing peer-led groups and training facilitators.

• Willingness to obtain Oregon Driver's License and pass DHS background check if not already held.

About the Position

We have an exciting career opportunity for an Outpatient & Housing Peer Program Manager. The Outpatient & Housing Peer Program Manager will oversee all aspects of ColumbiaCare’s peer treatment services in various clinical departments: Outpatient and Supportive Housing. The Outpatient & Housing Peer Program Manager position will implement peer-led self-help groups, research and gather curricula and resources, and train peer facilitators. Provide clinical and operational management and supervision to ColumbiaCare’s Peer Support Specialists that provide peer services in various clinical programs. Establish collaborative and educational relationships with all programs and provide ongoing training, advocacy, and consultation with a focus on peer-delivered services. The Outpatient & Housing Peer Program Manager will directly supervise Peer Support Specialist staff, conduct performance evaluations, and audit electronic health records.

Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. This requirement enables secure access to company systems.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day)

What You’ll Need

• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration.Eligibility requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field;
  • OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting;
  • OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training
• Be Certified as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) plus ONE (1) year of direct work experience as a Peer Support Specialist
• ONE (1) year of supervisory experience is required
• MUST be willing and able to become a Peer Support Specialist Trainer within one year of hire

If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.

Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers. It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
