Job summary

The RN delivers relationship-based, high-acuity outpatient care to pediatric patients at the Outpatient Blood & Cancer / Day Hospital Clinic of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. This part-time, PRN role supports clinic and day hospital operations with orientation to procedural/PACU responsibilities over time.

We seek an actively licensed Ohio RN with at least 3 years inpatient nursing experience; BSN is preferred and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)
• Minimum 3 years inpatient nursing experience
• BSN preferred
• BLS required
• Pediatric, oncology, infusion, or outpatient experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in clinic and day hospital settings
• Administer medications, blood products, chemotherapy (per competency), and infusion therapies
• Perform assessments, triage, and symptom management
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Support procedural services and maintain accurate EMR documentation
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives
