Job summary

AdvantageCare Physicians in the New York metropolitan area is seeking a Gastroenterology-trained physician to join our team full time, delivering high-quality GI care across diagnosis, treatment, and preventive services.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, care coordination, and performing non-invasive GI procedures, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• MD or foreign medical degree required.
• US gastroenterology residency and fellowship trained.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in gastroenterology.
• New York State license required.
• Active DEA registration or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient information and maintain medical records.
• Review patient history and perform physical examination.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat GI disorders including malabsorption and cancers.
• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans.
• Perform a wide range of non-invasive Gastroenterology procedures.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and participate in staff education.
