Job summary

MD Staff Pointe in Alamogordo, NM seeks a gastroenterologist for a fully outpatient practice. The role involves providing ambulatory GI care in a center with dedicated exam rooms and on-site endoscopy capabilities, including access to advanced imaging and in-house labs.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with half a day for administrative duties, visa sponsorship options (J-1 and H-1B), and a sign-on bonus up to $100,000.

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology (ABIM or AOOBIM)
• Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
• Unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or eligibility for licensure

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care in a 100% outpatient practice.
• Perform routine and advanced procedures (e.g., hemorrhoid banding, FibroScan, PillCam).
• Collaborate with hospital resources including surgical suites and imaging for complex cases.
• Share a call schedule with support from locum providers.

Education
