Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a gastroenterology-focused provider for a flexible locum assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The role features sporadic weeks, 12-hour in-house shifts from 7a to 7p, and call coverage from 7p to 7a.

You will perform endoscopic procedures including EUS and ERCP, with 15 patient encounters per shift and a team of 3 RNs and 3 NP/PAs. Requirements include an active NM medical license, board certification in gastroenterology, ACLS and BLS.

Qualifications

• This role requires an active New Mexico medical license and board certification in gastroenterology.
• ACLS and BLS are required for patient care during endoscopy procedures.
• Experience with endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures including EUS and ERCP with diagnostic and therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate with RNs and NPs/PAs for patient care during 12-hour shifts.
• Attend to up to 15 patient encounters per shift and participate in call schedule.
