Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM is recruiting a full-time BC/BE Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join our employed group at Lovelace Westside Hospital and Lovelace Women's Hospital. The practice includes a dedicated GI Lab, a team of 2 GI physicians, 4 NPs, and a PA, with advanced support and onsite clinics.

Schedule features 2 clinical days and 3 GI Lab days, with 1:6 call and on-site offices. A $50,000 commencement bonus is included along with comprehensive compensation and benefits

Qualifications

• Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
• Outpatient only
• Join a team of 2 Gastroenterologists, 4 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Assistant
• Advanced Practitioner Support
• GI Lab at Lovelace Westside Hospital with 2 procedure rooms
• GI Lab at Lovelace Women's Hospital with 2 procedure rooms
• On-site outpatient clinics at both locations
• Office hours Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
• Schedule: 2 days Clinical, 3 days GI Lab (blocked time)
• Daily patient average: 20 clinic / 16 GI Lab
• ERCP experience preferred but not required
• 1:6 rotating call
• Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe to automate documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient GI care and consults
• Perform gastroenterology procedures as assigned
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
