Job summary
Banner University Medical Group and the University of Arizona Department of Medicine seek a BC/BE Geriatrician to join a growing geriatrics program in Tucson, Arizona. This full-time outpatient position focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care for the elderly across Southern Arizona, with a collaborative team and a mission to bring care closer to patients.
You will join an interdisciplinary team, contribute to program growth, and have opportunities for a faculty appointment with the
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Genuine passion for caring for geriatric patients
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
- New graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for geriatric patients, including those with frailty, cognitive impairment, and complex medical needs
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions common in the aging population
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to build individualized care plans focused on quality of life and functional status
- Collaborate with colleagues across geriatrics specialties
- Contribute to program growth and community access initiatives
