Job summary
Banner University Medical Group (BUMG) in Tucson, Arizona, seeks a BC/BE Geriatrician to join a growing geriatrics program delivering outpatient, patient-centered care across Southern Arizona. Join an interdisciplinary team affiliated with the University of Arizona Department of Medicine and the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute to improve quality of life for older adults.
The role offers a full-time outpatient schedule, Monday through Friday, with equal practice call rotation.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
- Genuine passion for caring for geriatric patients
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
- New graduates and experienced physicians are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for geriatric patients, including those with frailty, cognitive impairment, and complex medical needs
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions common in the aging population
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to build individualized care plans focused on quality of life and functional status
- Collaborate with colleagues across geriatrics specialties
- Contribute to program growth and community access initiatives
