Job summary

Bay Area Community Health seeks a Family Practice Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Fremont. You will diagnose, treat, educate, and follow up with patients in a patient-centered environment, while supervising midlevel providers and staff.

You will coordinate with specialists, maintain medical records, and participate in clinic programs. Bilingual skills are valued; a California license and DEA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• California Medical License and DEA registration.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Practice (within 2 years).
• Current ACLS/BLS certification.
• Background check clearance prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform examinations, diagnoses, treatments and patient education per clinic policies.
• Refer to specialists, order labs/tests, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records compliant with state laws.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision of staff and trainees.
• Support EHR/EPM implementation and cross-department collaboration.
