Job summary

Rush Oak Park Hospital, located in Aurora, IL, is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Family Medicine Physician to join the Fox Valley clinic. This 100% outpatient role offers a balanced patient schedule and a collaborative team of physicians as part of Rush University System for Health.

The position features a 36 patient-facing hour workweek with one evening shift until 7pm and one Saturday morning per month, plus after-hours call rotation and weekend shared responsibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a practicing Primary Care Physician.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
• Board-eligible or certified in Family Medicine.
• Valid IL medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and support team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Participate in after-hours call rotation to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Contribute to practice growth during our expansion phase.
