Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Endocrinology outpatient team. You will provide compassionate nursing care to patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal conditions in a collaborative setting.

The role includes patient assessments, care planning support, patient education, medication administration, IV therapy, and maintaining records, with a day shift, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Clinical nursing experience in ambulatory/outpatient settings preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license required; Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct patient assessments, support care planning, and assist with outpatient procedures.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post‑procedure care.
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support infection control and maintain a safe environment.
