Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Triage RN in Endocrinology for our Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. This role is part-time and focuses on phone-based patient care, education, and symptom assessment in an ambulatory setting.

The RN will perform assessments, devise care plans, educate patients, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team. NH RN license and BLS are preferred as needed for inpatient and outpatient support.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Ambulatory care or outpatient experience preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory setting.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Assist outpatient procedures with emphasis on comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Administer medications and IV therapy.
• Maintain accurate patient records per regulations.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain safe environment.
• Independently triage symptoms using established protocols.
• Float to other departments as needed during shortages.
