Job summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a Clinical Dietitian at Stephens Hospital in Norway, ME. This outpatient-focused role involves guiding nutritional care for patients, performing assessments, building care plans, educating patients, and collaborating with physicians and health teams.

Some inpatient work allowed to support patient needs. Required are a Bachelor's in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences, state licensure as a Dietitian, and CDR registration.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required.
• License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required. Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
• Experience: Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates nutritional care to patients in assigned clinical areas.
• Performs nutritional assessments, develops and implements care plans, educates patients, and communicates with physicians and health team members.
