Job summary
MaineHealth is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to direct and coordinate nutritional care for patients in assigned clinical areas. You will perform nutritional assessments, develop and implement care plans, educate patients, and communicate with physicians and health team members at MaineHealth.
The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences, current state license as a Dietitian with CDRegistrations, and typically two years of RD experience in acute care settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required.
- Current applicable state license as a Dietitian and Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred.
- Driver's license may be required for Home Care positions, with vehicle available for work as specified by agency policy.

- Perform nutritional assessments and develop, and implement care plans, educating patients, and communicating with physicians and health team members.
- Adhere to MaineHealth policies and participate in care team discussions.
