Job summary

Baton Rouge General Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian. You will conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop individualized plans, and provide counseling to diverse patient populations in our outpatient clinic.

Ideal candidates hold an RD/RDN with Louisiana licensure eligibility, have completed an accredited dietetic internship, and can document effectively in EMR. Collaboration with clinicians is essential to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Nutrition/Dietetics with accredited internship.
• RD(RDN) credential and Louisiana licensure eligibility.
• Experience with medical nutrition therapy and EMR documentation.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork with providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nutritional assessments and create personalized plans.
• Provide outpatient nutrition counseling and education.
• Develop and implement Plans of Care for patients.
• Coordinate care through the EMR and collaborate with care teams.
