MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, counsel patients, and develop nutrition plans for diabetes, weight management, and other chronic conditions within Pharmacy Specialty Services.

You will assess patients, educate caregivers, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to evidence-based nutrition care, with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Minimum two years as outpatient dietitian or in nutrition counseling preferred.
• Certified Diabetic Educator or obesity/weight management certification preferred.
• Experience in community or primary care settings preferred.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to safely deliver patient care.
• Provide nutrition counseling for Medical Nutrition Therapy per current evidence.
• Assess patient understanding and adherence to individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
• Be punctual and follow policies and directives.
• Interacting positively and constructively with others.
• Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
