Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Dietitian at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. You will work with the outpatient team to counsel patients with a range of conditions including diabetes, heart disease, CKD, gestational diabetes, and more.

• RD certification is required.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience is highly preferred.
• Outpatient counseling experience is preferred.
• Licensed Dietitian in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Job Description

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Dietitian at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC) in Dallas, TX. This dietitian will work with our outpatient team to provide counseling on a variety of chronic conditions including but not limited to: general healthy eating, weight management, diabetes management, heart disease, chronic kidney disease, peri-menopause, geriatric nutrition, and gestational diabetes. There's also an opportunity to facilitate monthly oncology nutrition cooking demos with assistance from our chefs.

Schedule: Onsite, Monday- Friday. No Weekends!!

Job Responsibilities

• Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
• Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in nutrition or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required.
• At least one year of clinical experience highly preferred
• Outpatient counseling experience preferred
• Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Passion for improving patient outcomes through high-quality nutrition care.

Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
