Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Whiteriver, AZ seeks an entry-level RN CAP 1 to join the outpatient team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis and collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians.

This position emphasizes teaching, leadership, and quality improvement, with CAP advancement possible after completing required education and clinical milestones; full benefits and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care under supervision with guidance from educators and supervisors.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and updates the plan of care.
• Educates patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy with the healthcare team.
• Administers medications as prescribed and responds to emergencies.
