Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking an Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for Johnson City, TN. You will provide direct dialysis care under RN supervision and support the patient treatment plan.

Responsibilities include operating dialysis equipment, documenting parameters, and educating patients. CPR certification and an active LPN/LVN license are required. The role requires teamwork with physicians, dietitians, and social workers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) with active licensure.
• One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• CPR certification and ongoing training for dialysis procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients in the dialysis setting.
• Operate dialysis equipment and document treatments per protocol.
• Educate patients and families about dialysis, diet and medications.
• Respond to emergencies and report any significant changes to the supervisor.
