Job summary

The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Counselor is responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant is provided the services necessary to achieve the goals of treatment as outlined in their individualized treatment plan.

Counselors familiarize themselves with each new assigned participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best practices models as well as providing educational presentations to participants and/or their families as

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum of one year of full-time behavioral health experience.
• Must be licensed at the independent or associate level with the AZBBHE.
• Must be in good standing with the AZBBHE and meet requirements to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
• Valid identification required.
• Holds AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services per individualized treatment plan.
• Familiarize with new participants to tailor counseling based on best practices.
• Deliver educational presentations to participants and families as needed.
