Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Counselor provides counseling and support to participants, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and works with the treatment team to promote recovery and program quality.

The role emphasizes delivering services based on best-practice models, educating participants and families, and collaborating to achieve participants' goals within an integrated behavioral health framework.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work from a CSWE‑accredited program.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time behavioral health experience.
  • Licensed at the independent or associate level with the AZBBHE as Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Addiction Counselor (Addiction Counselor applicable to Residential Programs only).
  • In good standing with the AZBBHE and qualified to provide clinical supervision toward licensure.
  • Valid identification and AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs across Arizona, Oklahoma, and the District of Columbia. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

Outpatient Counselor

The Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Counselor is responsible for ensuring, with the assistance of other treatment team members, that each participant receives the services necessary to achieve the goals outlined in their individualized treatment plan. Counselors familiarize themselves with each new assigned participant to provide appropriate counseling services based on best‑practice models, and deliver educational presentations to participants and/or their families as needed.
