Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in CBI Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point programs. The Behavioral Health Clinician coordinates with the Patient Care Technicians ( PCT ), Registered Nurses (RN), and Behavioral Health Medical Providers (BHMP) to ensure a safe environment and that quality care is provided to all presenting for services. The Behavioral Health Clinician completes the behavioral health assessment and service plan for all individuals admitted to their assigned program. The B HC documents provided services and coordinates discharges from CBI programs. The BHC coordinates care with the family or other significant others.
Skills/Requirements:
1-3 years of full-time Health Care related work experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations is preferred but not required.
