Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL seeks a Medical Coder to analyze medical records, assign diagnosis and procedure codes, and abstract records to support the hospital revenue cycle. This role requires completion of a medical coding program and current coding credentials (CCA/CCS/RHIT/RHIA).

Candidates should have at least one year of experience and strong analytical, computer, and communication skills to ensure accuracy and patient safety, while supporting teamwork and regulatory

Qualifications

• Completion of medical coding from an approved health information technology program.
• Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Registered Health Information Management (RHIT), or RHIA certification.
