LHH is currently recruiting for an experienced Outpatient Coder for one of our top clients on the west side of Indianapolis. This is a direct hire position that offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately code outpatient medical records using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
  • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures
  • Conduct audits of medical charts to ensure coding accuracy

Qualifications:

  • Coding certification from AAPC and/or AHIMA (CPC, CCS-P, or CRC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of outpatient coding experience
  • Previous experience in auditing charts is a plus
