Job summary

Premise Health in Seattle is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient health center. You will interview patients, record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and assist providers with procedures.

The role requires at least 2 years of MA experience, a national CMA certification or accredited externship with hands-on clinical training, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• National CMA certification or approved externship program with hands-on externship.
• Hands-on externship required; online programs without externship not accepted.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document vital signs and medical history.
• Maintain accurate patient health records.
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Administer medications, including injections, within scope.
• Perform lab testing and specimen collection.
• Operate EKGs and diagnostic equipment as allowed.
• Support providers with clinical procedures and patient care.
• Provide front-desk and scheduling support.
