United Counseling Service (UCS) in Vermont seeks Outpatient Clinicians for full-time and part-time openings in Bennington County. The role delivers a spectrum of clinical services to individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges, including assessment, counseling, and case management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, psychiatric nursing, or related humans services field is required.
• Licensed in VT or VT OPR license eligible and Rostered.
• Minimum of one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment and counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance use problems.
• Coordinates services with other agencies and providers; facilitates referrals.
• May provide specialized assessments/screening services based on concentration and training.
• Provides mental health and/or substance use consultation to the community, schools, and agencies.
• Provides concurrent case management services as needed, including coordination and follow-up.
• Initiates and maintains timely record-keeping and administrative documentation of services.
• Attends and participates in coordinative, administrative, and clinical meetings.
