The Mental Health Clinician at Syntero is responsible for providing therapeutic services to individuals with mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and other related concerns. They will conduct assessments, develop treatment/prevention plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to promote clients' well-being. This position collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Evaluate and diagnose mental health and/or substance use conditions using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
- Utilize evidence-based/evidence-informed psychotherapy interventions to treat clients' mental health and/or substance use conditions.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and treatment plan, developed in collaboration with clients and evaluate their ongoing treatment progress.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group sessions with clients to address mental health and/or substance use concerns, provide education and support to clients' families, and promote overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, personalized treatment/prevention plans, and discharge summaries.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure requirements.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology with valid state licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC/LPCC, MFT/IMFT, LSW/LISW, Psychologist)
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel, Google Suites and working with Electronic Medical Records is preferred
- Must be a self-starter, be able to exhibit flexibility, work independently as well as part of a team, have excellent time-management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
A sign-on bonus is available for clinicians who work at Syntero's Lewis Center office. Other sign-on bonuses may be available based on location and licensure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour (rate of pay based on experience and licensure)
