Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO is launching a new outpatient pharmacy.

We seek an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in daily operations and help shape workflows and patient care standards for a growing program. You will collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to deliver safe, efficient pharmaceutical care, participate in process improvements, and ensure a patient-centered experience in a growing program.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• License to practice pharmacy and dispense controlled substances.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Immunization certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for allergy interactions and therapy appropriateness.
• Oversees medication preparation and timely delivery to care areas.
• Provides counseling and promotes medication education and adherence.
• Supervises interns, technicians, and support personnel as needed.
• Identifies problems (equipment, drug availability, staffing) and resolves them.
• Suggests process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
