Job summary

Blue Kite Wellness in Wheaton, IL is seeking an Outpatient Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and day-to-day oversight at our outpatient location. You will balance direct clinical work with supervision of clinicians and interns, ensuring high-quality, compliant care and site growth.

The role requires an active IL license, at least three years in outpatient behavioral health, and strong leadership and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Illinois licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in good standing.
• At least three years of outpatient behavioral health experience.
• Ability to supervise therapists and interns.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active outpatient therapy caseload.
• Provide clinical supervision to therapists and interns.
• Support complex cases, crises, treatment planning, and high-risk needs.
• Review documentation, treatment plans, and records for quality and compliance.
• Conduct chart reviews and provide coaching or corrective guidance.
• Lead on-site clinical and day-to-day operations for the location.
• Promote accountability in attendance, professionalism, scheduling, and productivity.
• Coordinate daily site workflow and resolve clinical or operational concerns.
• Onboard and develop clinicians and interns for ongoing growth.
• Monitor utilization, caseload growth, and site capacity progress.
• Participate in clinician recruitment, evaluations, and coaching.
• Support marketing, referrals, and site growth initiatives.
