Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a dedicated Nurse Clinician to provide ambulatory nursing care and to serve as a clinical lead for licensed and unlicensed teammates. This full-time role supports the manager and delivers care in a traditional 8am-5pm schedule.

Responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, assessing competence, monitoring inventory, and coordinating care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state where you work and reside, or meet licensure requirements if using a National License Compact state.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification in Nursing Specialty Preferred.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Makes daily clinical assignments based on staff availability and practice needs.
• Assess the clinical competence of teammates and report to the manager on clinical issues.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of supplies, equipment and medications.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses or issues.
• Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.
• Develops and implements a plan to attain outcomes.
• Coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe environment.

Education
