Families, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support the Outpatient treatment team by preparing clients for evaluation and acting as a liaison with medication management appointments.

The role involves professional representation of the organization in person, on the phone, and in the community, along with meticulous EMR documentation and coordination of medication-related processes. Strong confidentiality and multitasking skills are essential.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience in an office environment.
• Healthcare office environment experience preferred.
• Ability to retain confidentiality and perform several tasks simultaneously.

Mansioni

• Represent Families, Inc. in person, over the telephone and in the community in a professional manner.
• Completes clinical assistant documentation in the electronic medical record including vital signs, review of systems and client interview.
• Enters all concurrent medicines and allergies in the EMR as applicable.
• Maintains and coordinates drug sample inventory and documents accordingly.
• Serves as liaison between client and Psychiatrist for medication questions and refills.
• Monitors reports to ensure processes are followed and EMR information is accurate and complete.
• Assists with re-scheduling and notification of clients when a med clinic is cancelled or re-scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
