Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Outpatient Clinic in East Greenwich, RI. This contract role offers growth, a supportive environment, and on-site work with a typical schedule of 2-3 weekdays and every other weekend.

Initial training lasts 3 weeks, after which schedules are created in 6-week blocks. Benefits are available after 90 days and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability, plus a 401(k) with company match after 1 year of

Qualifications

• BSN required and active RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings preferred.
• Phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing experience required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records; Epic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification with expiration date beyond start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine and advanced patient assessments.
• Monitor and document vital signs.
• Evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential adverse interactions.
• Perform mental health assessments including depression and mood screenings.
• Document medical histories, medications, allergies, and surgeries in the EMR.
• Educate patients on medication administration, self-care, and disease management.
• Connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked clinic environment.
