Job summary

Center for Life Management in New Hampshire is seeking a Children’s Community Support Counselor to provide outpatient counseling and Functional Support Services in home, school or community settings. The role focuses on improving symptoms and development for ages 3–21 within a multi-disciplinary team.

The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with opportunities for professional development, teamwork, and ongoing supervision as part of our supportive agency culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related associate’s with two years of direct service may qualify.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment in routine, urgent, and emergent clinical situations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and documentation in EHR.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and Functional Support Services (FSS) in the home, school or other community-based setting.
• Provide Individual Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBSI) to develop coping strategies and reduce symptoms.
• Encourage Family Training and Counseling (FTC) to promote resilience and recovery.
• Provide Crisis Intervention (CI) when needed to ensure client safety.
• Document services promptly and accurately in records and EHR.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and external providers for wrap-around care.
