Job summary

Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern CT is seeking a Child Psychologist to deliver outpatient clinical services in Windsor, CT. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations for diverse developmental and behavioral concerns, using advanced assessment methods and clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include feedback to families and professionals, collaboration with medical and educational teams, and maintaining documentation in line with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
• Current Connecticut psychologist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations across a broad range of referrals.
• Advanced knowledge of psychological assessment and psychometrics.
• Strong clinical interviewing, report writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Ability to collaborate with patients, families, referral sources, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, ethical practice as per APA/CPA standards.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient psychological evaluations with interviews, records review, and testing.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to patients, families, and professionals.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, schools, and community agencies to coordinate care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation according to standards and policies.
• Participate in department meetings, supervision, and continuing education.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to trainees as assigned.
• May provide psychotherapy or related clinical services as trained.
• Adhere to policies, confidentiality, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
