Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license if required by state.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families.
• Provide outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention and wellness plans to support stability.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings and discharge planning.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans and insurance authorizations.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, admin staff and fellow therapists.
