Columbia Mental Health, a member of Transformations Care Network, seeks a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Maryland. You will provide outpatient therapy to children and families within a collaborative clinical environment that supports growth toward licensure.

We offer a hybrid work model with 1-2 days of remote work, a supportive supervision program, and a $3,000 hiring incentive at this location.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Provisional license per state regulation.
• Educational background leading to professional licensing.
• Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
• Ongoing professional development including supervision and continuing education.
• Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with clients and families.
• Ability to manage time and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
• Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on client needs, fostering healing and resilience.
• Develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to maintain stable functioning and empower clients.
• Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
• Ensure timely billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations with professional standards.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for holistic care.
