The University of Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive outpatient care for the Chest Oncology Program within Hematology/Oncology. This role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for lung cancer patients in a dedicated outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience, Illinois licensure, and the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team while staying current with evolving oncology practices.

Formación

• College or university degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a related discipline.
• Current and/or eligible for State of Illinois licensure/registration.

Responsabilidades

• Provides comprehensive outpatient care for Chest Oncology patients.
• Documents history and exams and manages treatment per guidelines.
• Coordinates diagnostic tests, follow-ups and other patient care issues.
• Attends multidisciplinary conferences and Chest Oncology program meetings.
• Performs prescribing tasks, chart reviews, and patient communication.
• Keeps updated on hematology/oncology practices and policies.
• Develops diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions as needed.
