Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver comprehensive outpatient chest oncology care within the Hematology/Oncology section. You will manage care from assessment to treatment, coordinate tests, and participate in conferences to advance patient outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include a degree from an accredited institution, 2+ years of related experience, Illinois licensure, and MSO privileging. Strong collaboration and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Current and/or eligible Illinois licensure/registration.
• Eligibility to be privileged and credentialed through the Medical Staff Office (MSO).

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient chest oncology patient care.
• Document history, exams, and changes in management.
• Arrange and follow up on diagnostic tests and other patient care issues.
• Attend multidisciplinary conferences and research meetings.
• Attend conferences and continuing education to stay updated in hematology/oncology care.
• Develop diagnostic strategies and therapeutic interventions for patient care goals.
