Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an RN for a day-shift, PRN schedule. The role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments and implementing individualized care plans within a high-standard hospital setting.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Association with Florida RN licensure and BLS is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• RN license required (Florida) and BLS required.
• English fluency (read, speak, write).
• 1+ acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Respond to code situations promptly and provide necessary interventions.
